NOT Touching the Art

Major milestone: Thanks to staffing cuts in the Seattle Art Museum's security department, the absence of certain inveterate art-touchers among us, increased reservoirs of self-control among the remaining crew, and concerted efforts on everyone's part to come up with alternate activities, six members of our extended family managed to spend two full hours at the Olympic Sculpture Park without being reprimanded once.

Alternate activities included drawing each other drawing each other (paper, pencils, and easels provided by the Museum), laying in the sun on the beach letting our companions transform us into temporary, touchable Olympic Sculptures:



and of course, makin' movies:

If I had been there, I think I would have stopped and worshipped you fascinating rock dieties.
