Viva la democracia!

Our caucus on Saturday was PACKED. When I took this picture we had just learned that there were still 300 people waiting to get into the building. It's a strange, Byzantine process. Our precinct had four delegates to allocate, and we managed to wrestle it from 3:1 for Obama to 4:0 through various persuasive and mathematical tactics both legitimate and probably less so ("I'll bring you a pie if you switch" -- is that allowed?) One of our neighbors voted for Clinton at first, and when she switched to Obama she said she'd been meaning to switch all along, but "I wanted to vote for a woman once in my life." Sigh.
