More Progress...

Your primary correspondent missed most of yesterday's treehousing on account of having to go to (gasp) work. But we are told there were kids up on ladders steadying boards and other kids down on the ground steadying ladders and other kids soaping up screws and lining up washers, and that everybody got a turn with the power drill. And the board-per-day figure had doubled by dinnertime!

Today after Bryan and Ioan made a pilgrimage to the hardware store for more screws and a longer drill bit, we made quite a bit of progress:

We still haven't decided if the Dangerous Book for Boys was meant to be a serious instruction manual, or more of a nostalgic-riff-turned-coffee-table-art-piece. Either way, we're in too deep to back out now.
