Lucky us! We got to make a birthday cake for one of our favorite people on earth yesterday. Her mom's in China on business (which happened to us a lot when we were kids too, coincidentally) so we offered to step in on the celebratory dessert front. Recalling Lauren's avalanche-prone concoction, we kept it simple, with a nice low center of gravity. Josie added the raspberry heart. Congratulations, Menna -- we're so glad you were born. And welcome home, Aly -- we missed you!
